4. Meeting God
This might or might not happen in Preacher Season 2.
See, God is missing and the fact that he disappeared right after Genesis was born makes it clear that he is on the run and in hiding. Jesse spent the entire first season trying to find his calling and figure out why God gave him Genesis. Now that he knows the truth, he wants to find out why God has run away from his children and is no longer there to watch over his flock.

In the comics, it is someone else that God comes to and it just makes Jesse more determined to find him and make him answer for leaving. It will be interesting to see how this plays out on AMC.
3. Gran’ma
The first season of Preacher also made changes to Jesse and his dad by making his father a preacher. In the comic books, Jesse’s dad was a Vietnam veteran who returned to see people spitting in his face. He reconnected with his girlfriend, who was on the run, and the two brought Jesse into the world. However, Gran’ma, as the name suggests, is someone to answer some serious questions that were only hinted at in the first season – including who killed Jesse’s dad.
She is also one of the evillest people you could ever imagine. If the Preacher TV show portrays her like she is in the comics, it could cause a huge controversy.
