4.  Littlefinger Poking the Bear (Or Shall We Say, Wolf)

Remember back in season one when Ned Stark almost killed Littlefinger outside of a brothel? Well, that almost happened again this week when Littlefinger poked the wolf that is Jon Snow.

Professing his love for Jon’s little sister Sansa was probably a bad thing, considering Sansa’s past history with men Jon obviously didn’t take the comment too well since he slammed Littlefinger into the wall and threatened to kill him if he even talked to Sansa.

Of course, that threat probably isn’t going to be taken seriously considering Jon is leaving to Dragonstone to meet Dany in the next episode. That leaves Sansa in charge and gives Littlefinger more free reign to pull her over to his side. We don’t Sansa will be so easily swayed though since she has Brienne (and maybe Ayra?) to watch her back as she holds the North.

5. Euron Greyjoy Unleashed

HBO

The entire naval battle during the end of this episode was absolutely breathtaking to watch and Euron, well he’s risen to the top when it comes to crazy.

Starting with an interrupted almost sex scene between Yara and Ellaira, Euron literally smashed into the scene jumping onto their boat with a manic laugh, a fire in his eyes and suddenly we’re in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie and we aren’t complaining one bit.

This battle was immensely satisfying if you (like many of us) don’t like the sand snakes, we got to see two of these girls get killed off by Euron in pretty brutal ways (one speared and another choked to death) and we also got to see Ellaria Sand and another daughter, plus Yara Greyjoy, get taken captive by Euron as a gift for Cersei.

And let’s not forget about Alfie Allen, whose acting was just spectacular as he twitched back into Reek for a moment before he abandoned his sister and jumped into the sea to safety.

It’s not often that we root for the villains in Game of Thrones, but it’s pretty hard to not root for someone as entertaining and interesting as Euron.
