Check out Euron Greyjoy’s armor and weapon on Game of Thrones
There is no doubt that Euron Greyjoy has been vastly improved from his brief Game of Thrones season 6 appearances, and now, we get a closer look at the clothes, armor, and weapon that makes the madman so damn cool.
When the character of Euron Greyjoy was introduced during Game of Thrones season 6, he was a bland version of his book version, and many fans took notice. When Euron — portrayed by Pilou Asbæk — returned in season 7, he looked very different, and in the minds of the fans, much improved.

HBO’s Making Game of Thrones blog recently put Euron’s outfits on display and provided us with a closer look at how the clothes help make the man.
"Euron’s axe, armor and costume"
Game of Thrones costume designer, Michele Clapton had this to say about the design work on Euron’s outfit.
"He wants his look to get inside Jaime’s head, to threaten him visually and physically. He’s attractive and swaggering…he is a threat"

As you can see, despite the fact that Euron portrays a Pirate King who doesn’t give a f*ck, the detailing on his armor and axe say something completely different: He cares how he looks. Pilou Asbæk talked about how he collaborated with Clapton to improve Euron’s look.
"[Costume Designer] Michele [Clapton] and I did the whole f**king rockstar look — leather pants, leather jacket, open shirt — because Euron doesn’t give a s**t"
Well, it’s working, because we are more invested in Euron Greyjoy than we were last season, and thanks to the genius of Clapton, with input from the actor himself, we hope we’ll be seeing more of Euron Greyjoy this season.
