The Walking Dead season 8 is almost upon us and the first three episode titles and synopsis have been revealed.

As we enter the month of October, we draw ever closer to the premiere of The Walking Dead season 8 on AMC, on October 22. Season 8 should be a thrill ride with Rick and his combined army of Alexandria Safe Zone, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom. Negan and his Saviors will definitely have their hands full, as Rick leads his forces against them in All Out War.

As for what we can expect from the new season, Games Radar notes that Spoiler TV has the first three episode titles and synopsis. Check it out:

"Episode 1: MercyRick and his group, along with the Kingdom and Hilltop, have banded together to bring the fight to Negan and the Saviors."

It appears as if The Walking Dead will waste no time in the season 8 premiere episode, “Mercy.” With Rick and the others taking the fight directly to Negan.

More from Show Snob

"Episode 2: The DamnedThe plan involving Alexandrians, Kingdommers and Hilltoppers unfolds; as Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face."

Looks like Rick’s plan is in full swing in episode 2, “The Damned.” I wonder who the familiar face is going to be.

"Episode 3: MonstersConflict with the Saviors leads to unintended consequences for the Hilltop, the Kingdom, and Alexandria; morality proves tricky in wartime."

Well, whatever “unintended consequences” means, it looks like something Rick’s group does may cause a problem with those not willing to commit acts of violence, even if it’s against Negan’s group the Saviors.

So now we have three episode titles and synopsis for the beginning of The Walking Dead season 8. And, by all appearances, it looks like we are in for one heck of a ride.
