(Video) Game of Thrones: The Game Revealed shows how Viserion was resurrected
Game of Thrones season 7 may be over, but The Game Revealed is helping with the withdrawals.
The Game Revealed is a 7-part mini-series from HBO that goes behind the scenes of each episode of Game of Thrones season 7. You can watch them on HBO NOW and HBO GO, starting from the first episode to “Beyond the Wall” which is the 6th episode in the series.
For now, however, enjoy a short video of the showrunners discussing how they pulled off the Night King’s army dragging Viserion out of the frozen lake and then his eventual resurrection by the NIght King’s hand.

Oh, look, a wild chains appear! The inclusion of massive chains to haul a dead dragon from a frozen lake was one of the more talked about plotholes from Game of Thrones episode 706, “Beyond the Wall.”
Where did the Night King get those chains? Was there a Home Depot on the corner of Lands of Always Winter lane and Frost Fangs drive? Or, did he have some giants carry them there for him, and we just didn’t see them lay the chains out?
Regardless, the resurrection of Viserion was definitely an “oh shit!” moment for fans of the show, as we were still grieving his death at the hands of the Night King’s Olympic style javelin throw. Now, he’s got an undead dragon to fly around on and he used it against the Wall, which crumbled at the might of zombie Viserion’s blue-fire breath.
