The Punisher hits Netflix on November 17, and the streaming service has just released an all-new clip via the show’s official Twitter account.

Marvel’s The Punisher will make its binge-worthy debut on Netflix on November 17, and when it does, it may go down as one of the all-time low key Marvel Netflix releases the streaming service has ever had.

Not fitting the usual mold of heroes from Marvel, The Punisher will be a dark and gritty show that follows Frank Castle as he seeks revenge for what happened to his family, making him the actual Punisher. A trailer for the show was released in September, but after that, not much has been released in the way of marketing.

"After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld."

When the Marvel/Netflix universe was introduced to Frank Castle, he was a revenging angle of death on Daredevil, serving as a side character that often upstaged the man without fear. The Punisher’s portrayal by Jon Bernthal was so popular among fans, that Netflix ordered a full series following the anti-hero.

Now, a mere 11 days until its worldwide premiere, Netflix has released a snippet of a clip via the official Twitter account of The Punisher.

As you can see, the purpose of the clip was to show just how far Frank Castle is willing to go to uncover the truth. They killed his family, so don’t expect him to show them any mercy.
