Morgan will crossover from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead
AMC announced Sunday night on Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick that Morgan will crossover from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead for season 4.
For months now, ever since The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman announced there would be a crossover character revealed this season that would go from the main show to Fear the Walking Dead, fans have wildly speculated who that might be. We’ve even had our own theories, but on Sunday night, AMC made it official.
On The Walking Dead’s after show, Talking Dead with host Chris Hardwick, it was revealed that Morgan, portrayed by actor Lennie James, will, in fact, crossover from TWD to FTWD for the spinoff’s fourth season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, James will join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead today, Monday, November 27, for his first day on set for filming season 4 from Austin, Texas. EW also notes that James will become a series regular on FTWD, meaning he will be leaving TWD at some point in season 8.
This news almost certainly spells doom for Morgan, and James even hinted as much when asked about his part in the crossover.
"The hardest part of it from beginning until now has been leaving The Walking Dead; leaving that cast and leaving that crew. And I’ve said my goodbyes to the cast and stuff, and I’ve said my goodbyes to the crew."
Does this mean Morgan will die in season 8? Or, will he be allowed to walk away from All Out War, before the season ends? There will have to be a time jump forward or backward for the timelines of both shows to work out.

Either way, it will be highly interesting to see how Morgan will interact with the character from FTWD for season 4, all of which, with the exception of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) had their fates left in doubt in the season 3 finale.
