Surprise! These characters survived the Fear the Walking Dead season 3 finale
The first photos of actor Lennie James (Morgan) on set of Fear the Walking Dead have revealed surprising spoilers regarding who survived the season 3 finale.
Filming for Fear the Walking Dead season 4 is currently underway in Austin, Texas, and actor Lennie James who portrays Morgan, currently on The Walking Dead, is there for his first day on set. AMC recently announced that James would be crossing over to FTWD from TWD.
AMC released a video of James discussing his transition from the main show to the spinoff, as he walked through the Austin set.
While the video in itself was neat, the real surprise came in the form of a photo of Lennie James at a table read with FTWD actors Colman Domingo (Strand), Frank Dillane (Nick), and Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia).

This means all three characters survived the events of the Fear the Walking Dead season 3 finale, a finale that saw a dam explode, leaving the fates of all but Madison (Kim Dickens) sinking to the bottom of the river (pardon the metaphor).
Of course, we have no idea of when Morgan will enter the FTWD timeline, but if season 4 picks up immediately where season 3 left off — or at least shortly thereafter — then Morgan’s involvement in the show will be aligned with the earlier seasons of The Walking Dead.
There’s also the idea that Morgan will escape All Out War alive, leaving Rick and his friends behind, making his way to Texas where he runs into the Clark family. If this were to happen, then FTWD would be all caught up with TWD, making future crossovers possible.
