Black Mirror season 4 will consist of six all-new episodes, beginning with a 76-minute Star Trek-themed episode titled, “U.S.S. Callister.” There will also be the series’ first black and white episode titled, “Metalhead.”

In October, EW talked to Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker about season 4, where he says each episode is “intrinsically Black Mirror and also aren’t.”

"Like “Metalhead” is very unlike any episode we’ve done before. It’s a deliberately paired down and brutal tale. If you imagine every season like an album, this is like a 2-minute punk single. Each is pretty different from every episode we’ve done before and it’s difficult to explain why until you’ve seen them."

Yep, that sounds about right. Black Mirror is going to do what it does best, mind f**k you until you want to turn off the TV, crawl into a corner and cry like a baby, or shutter all the windows lock all the doors and start looking for conspiracies in everything.
