Brad Pitt bid $120,000 to watch Game of Thrones episode with Emilia Clarke, was outbid
Money is no object when you’re Brad Pitt, as the Hollywood mega-star bid a hefty sum for the honor of watching an episode of Game of Thrones with the Mother of Dragons herself — Emilia Clarke.
On Saturday night (Jan. 6), at Sean Penn’s fundraising event for disaster relief in Haiti, Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt bid a whopping $120,000 (likely pocket change) hoping for the honor of watching an episode of Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen).

According to Variety, while the bidding for a night of Game of Thrones viewing with the Breaker of Chains started out at $20k, Pitt tossed his hat into the ring at $80k. Knowing that to be a paltry sum, when dealing with the rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, the veteran “A-list” actor quickly outbid himself to the tune of $90k.
However, when Kit Harington (Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen) walked back into the room — he had previously stepped out — and offered to join the viewing party, Pitt jumped at the chance to have two Targaryens over for Game of Thrones night, and he excitedly bid $120k.
Sadly for Pitt, he was then outbid by an unnamed party at the fundraiser, with the final total coming in at $160,000. Who knows, maybe Brad Pitt dodged a bullet. Have you ever tried to feed a dragon the size of Drogon? Let alone the extra fire insurance one would need to carry for such an event.

In all seriousness, the funds raised on Saturday night went to a great cause, the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which is an annual benefit hosted by Sean Penn.
