Legion offers yet another bizarre teaser for upcoming second season

Legion is the most unique comic book television show that you will ever see and the new teasers for season 2 hammer that point home.

Recall, last week there was a brand-new Legion teaser trailer that hit showing the Shadow King (Audrey Plaza) telling us that nothing we saw in the first season was real. This is interesting since the Shadow King died in the first season — although there is a new Shadow King in season 2, this time played by a man (Navid Negahban). Yet, there is Audrey Plaza — making it look like she is returning as well.

Now, there is a new Legion teaser — this one more of a clip from the second season. In the teaser, Syd (Rachel Keller) telling David Haller (Dan Stevens) that “this thing kills everyone,” followed by countless people with chattery teeth.

Fans who watched the first season of Legion knows that this is very different than other comic book TV shows. Yes, Legion is set in the world of the X-Men (he is Charles Xavier’s son), but there isn’t a single X-Men member in sight, although the Shadow King is the name of a character from that world as well.

When the first season ended, David was stuck in some kind of orb, and that played a role in the first teaser, but obviously, he gets out and rejoins his friends for season 2 — that is unless it was all in his imagination and he ends up back in the asylum.

The good news is that season 2 of Legion is coming up and is just around the corner. The second season airs on FX on April 3.
