5. Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place – Mr. Bauer

More from Show Snob

If you haven’t seen Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, you missed a very entertaining sitcom from the late ’90s that starred none other than Ryan Reynolds and also featured Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) in an early television role. Reynolds starred as Berg, a slacker who worked in a pizza joint with his buddy Pete.

This was possibly the most unique role that David Ogden Stiers portrayed in his career as a regular on television. Steirs played a character named Mr. Bauer, a delusional man who dines at the pizza place and seems to believe that things he sees in films are actually things that happened in his own life. It was a fantastic comedic role for Stiers, and unlike anything else that he has ever really done.
