Iain Glen says Game of Thrones finale will be ‘brilliant’

With the final season of Game of Thrones looming, Iain Glen recently shared his thoughts on the final episode.

The world must wait 13 months for Season 8 of Game of Thrones, but there is a small group of lucky souls who get to know how it all ends: the cast. And this includes Ser Jorah Mormont himself, Iain Glen.

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Glen expressed his love for the series and how the final episode is a fitting end for the mega-popular series.

"“When I read it, I thought it was rather brilliant. I am a bit of a fan of the series as well, and it satiated my expectation and hopes. I felt (it was the) conclusion.”"

And while spoilers and significant hints are hard to come by because the cast is sworn into intense secrecy, Glen sort of dropped one.

“But we will have to see. You know with something this big like Game of Thrones, you cannot please everyone,” Glen said. “All I can say is that we will be doing what we have done before, and the writers have written great episodes. They have had a great strike rate up to now, and I am sure that will continue.”

We have to read between the lines here. If Glen thinks not everyone will be pleased with the ending and that writers will be doing what they have done before, does this mean many of our favorite characters will meet their demise?

I guess it’s naïve to think everyone will make it out of Season 8 alive. But I’d hate to see Ser Jorah die after all he’s been through.

Hired to spy on Daenerys Targaryen, he made the mistake of falling in love with her; then he was banished, then he (painfully) survived Greyscale, only to get permanently friend zoned.

I have a prediction. I think Ser Jorah will probably die, but he’ll do it while saving his beloved Khaleesi.
