Brock Williams finally opens up to his son

Last week, Ash killed his father again and this week, he chopped him into little pieces with his trusty chainsaw.

Just when Ash was talking to himself and said that he would know his dad if he showed up, the ghost of Brock Williams showed up.

Ash was very happy here and recognized his dad immediately. The two bonded and Brock decided to finally tell Ash the secret he tried to tell him before he was run over and died last season

  • Ash: That gill cost me $300 to replace.
  • Brock: You spent more on the car than my funeral.
  • Ash: That’s not true-ish.

More from Show Snob

As soon as Brock and Ash arrived at the hardware store, it was snowing, it was Christmas-time, it was five years ago, and the music from A Charlie Brown Christmas was playing in the background (another brilliant music choice).

This was, as Brock said, like A Christmas Carol, and this was the Ghost of Christmas Past. So, what was the big secret? A member of the Knights of Samaria showed up to tell Brock that the world was in danger and they had to find Ash, the prophesized one.

Sadly, Brock didn’t believe him, kicked him in the balls, and watched as the Knight fell down the steps of the cellar. Brock sealed up the cellar, locked up, and left his store for good — leaving the Knight for dead.

However, the Knight had the missing pages from the Necronomicon and wasn’t dead. Ash came back to the present day, went into the cellar, and saw that the Knight was dead now but had scrawled the etchings on the wall, and the pages were there as well.

Ash also saw through the wall and witnessed the face of Brandy’s friend crying out for help. Could it be that the spirits of all those possessed by Deadittes — including Ash’s loved ones — are trapped there and Ash can save them all?

After something from the other side attacked Ash, and he finally fought it off, he set off to kill Ruby. Brock then went back to the other realm and will be missed.

  • Brock: “You’ll be a great father.”
  • Ash: “You really think so?”
  • Brock: “Hah. no.”
