Cary Elwes and Jake Busey head to Stranger Things!

Yes! More Stranger Things news! As season three is heading towards production, the series is adding new characters to the story.

Most recently, Cary Elwes and Jake Busey are the latest additions to the next season. What characters will they be playing? Find out below!

More from Stranger Things

Elwes will be playing the character of Mayor Kline, who has been described as “handsome, slick, and sleazy.” Oh boy, we can already imagine what this 80’s politician will be like, right?

Instead of worrying about the town of Hawkins, Kline is concerned with how he looks more than anything.

Busey will play a character named Bruce who is “a journalist for The Hawkins Post.” His morals aren’t exactly ethical and his sense of humor is a bit twisted.

Between Busey and Elwes, season three is sure to be one heck of an interesting season full of outlandish and corky characters.

Not much information has been released regarding season three of Stranger Things, but what we do know is that filming is to begin this month. Yes, this month!

We can cross our fingers that the new season will once again premiere in October as it has for the past seasons–but let’s see.

Coming back for season three are David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Cara Bruno, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalie Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery.
