Marvel’s Punisher is expanding its cast with two more additions for the upcoming season.

Netflix has officially added Corbin Bernsen and Annette O’Toole to the second season of The Punisher. Both actors will be playing mischievous characters who will probably bring some trouble for Frank this season.

Corbin Bernsen, who is known for his appearances on American Gods, will be playing a man named Anderson Schultz. A man defined by his wealth and power, Schultz will stop at nothing to maintain his reputation. Undoubtedly someone willing to break the law for his own selfish gain will have to reckon with Frank Castle.

More from Marvel

Smallville actress, Annette O’Toole will be Eliza Schultz, Anderson’s equally formidable wife. As a clever but terrifying woman, she will assist her husband in maintaining their power. It’s doubtful Frank will offer her any sympathy if she helps Anderson commit crimes to keep them wealthy.

It’s unclear if these new characters will run into the Punisher in New York though. Early casting rumors revealed The Punisher would be adapting the comic book arc “Suicide Run” for its upcoming season. This has Frank landing in Pennsylvania where he deals with local authorities. Could they be wealthy members of a small town or a part of a larger conspiracy in New York?

Bernsen and O’Toole join an already large ensemble for the Netflix show. It was earlier reported Marvel was interested in adapting Garth Ennis’ “The Slavers” arc on the series. These two could easily be a wealthy family profiting off of an illegal sex ring to set up a new storyline.

There’s no planned premiere date for The Punisher yet, but it’s widely anticipated to debut sometime this fall. While the first season received mixed reviews from critics, the sophomore run seems like a hard reset. Hopefully, this creative reboot will help the show confront some of the pacing issues which plagued the Netflix shows.
