The sexy Ryan Guzman has just been cast as a firefighter in Fox’s drama series, 9-1-1. And we thought the cast couldn’t get any hotter.

Raise your hand up high if you are excited about Ryan Guzman joining the cast of 9-1-1. Because this is such a perfect casting in an already hot ensemble of actors that we have no idea how it will come together in season two. Hottie alerts all around, right?

More from FOX

Guzman has been cast in a series regular role for the upcoming second season as a firefighter. Yes, you read that right, a firefighter. So basically Fox plans to have us passing out from hottie overload at the prospect of a shirtless Guzman–thanks for the early Christmas present, Ryan Murphy!

Guzman’s character will join Bobby Nash’s team at the firehouse we were introduced to in season one (which, mind you, already has Oliver Stark’s Buck). So much yes!

9-1-1 had a stellar first season and took audiences by surprise with its unique insight into the lives of first responders with a classic Ryan Murphy twist. Along with Murphy, the series is created by Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.

Next: Jennifer Love Hewitt cast in season two of 9-1-1

9-1-1 stars Peter Krause, Aisha Hinds, Angela Bassett, Kenneth Choi, Oliver Stark, and Rockmond Dunbar. The fabulous Connie Britton played a central character in season one, a 9-1-1 operator, but only signed on for a one-season deal. If all goes well, she may return as a guest star in the second season.

Guzman is known for his role alongside Jennifer Lopez in The Boy Next Door, and his T.V. credits include Notorious and Pretty Little Liars.
