Picture this – Jon Snow and Ygritte stay in their cave and get married. The end.
We all know that didn’t happen. But the real-life John Snow and wildling – Kit Harington and Rose Leslie did get married in Scotland yesterday. I can hear hearts breaking around the world. Oh wait, that’s just mine.

Fans outside of Kirkton of Rayne Church caught a glimpse of Game of Thrones’ biggest stars. Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, and John Bradley showed up in their Saturday-best. And even Harington’s T.V. siblings, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, attended, looking fashionable.
Harington, still sporting his long locks and beard looked dashing in his grey pin-striped pants, a cream vest, vest and black tails. Leslie wore a long-sleeved lace dress and floral garland around her head, looking gorgeous.
Guests threw flower petals as they exited the church, making the scene look like it was something out of a Pinterest picture.
Following the ceremony, guests partied at Leslie’s family castle. Excuse me? Rose Leslie has a family castle?
That Harington likes his royals, doesn’t he? Harington and Leslie met on the Game of Thrones set after sharing a ton of screen time together. Their friendship turned romantic in 2012. After splitting for a short while, they confirmed their relationship in 2016. They moved in together the following year and Harington proposed in September 2017.
Next up as far as Game of Thrones weddings, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, who got engaged in October 2017.
