Yellowstone teaser trailer for recently announced season 2
On the heels of the announcement of the early renewal of Paramount Network’s Yellowstone season 2, the drama series’ official Facebook page has released a teaser trailer for the new season.
Given shooting has yet to begin for the second season and four episodes of season 1 have yet to be broadcast, the Yellowstone season 2 trailer doesn’t give much away.
It shows someone riding from Yellowstone ranch towards the mountains. The teaser was captioned,
"There’s more story to tell… this season and beyond. We’re returning to the ranch in 2019."

The series focuses on the Dutton family who runs the large Yellowstone ranch in Montana. Kevin Costner plays family patriarch John Dutton who will do anything to keep the ranch together and protect his family.
His three children Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly), and Kayce (Luke Grimes) all deal with the weight of the ranch’s legacy in different ways. Meanwhile, local development and the nearby Native American reservation encroach on the Duttons’ way of life.
It’s no wonder the Paramount Network is hyping the show’s upcoming second season already. The series has been a ratings’ success for the new network.
Its premiere was the highest rated show of the summer and it’s become the most watched cable show behind The Walking Dead.
These are fantastic accomplishments for a freshman series, but even more so for a freshman network. Paramount Network will no doubt pull out all the stops to make sure viewers anticipate Yellowstone‘s second season, which will premiere in 2019.

In the meantime, production of Yellowstone season 2 is said to be starting soon. It will be shot entirely on location in Utah and Montana.
