The Punisher wraps filming for season two but no word on a potential premiere date from Netflix yet.

Marvel has had a busy year in television with many of its Netflix series returning this year. It was a nice change of pace from the previous seasons where the streaming service had obscene waiting periods for new episodes. Now, The Punisher has officially completed filming for season two and fans are already wondering when they’ll get to see Frank Castle again.

Actor Jason Moore confirmed shooting was finished via an Instagram post. The photo doesn’t give much away other than confirmation Moore’s character will make it far into the season. Considering this is The Punisher, it’s probably safe to assume anyone could die except for Frank Castle.

It seems unlikely Netflix would be able to get The Punisher season two ready to premiere before 2018 finishes. With Iron Fist returning in September, and Daredevil also scheduled for this year, the shows might become too packed together. However, it’s possible Frank comes back sometime in early 2019 around February or March.

The series added a lot of new cast members for this upcoming season. While no one is sure what storyline the show will be adapting this season, many have speculated it will be a combination of a  few different notable runs by Frank Miller. The first season was criticized for being a bit dull and it seems like the show will be pulling out all the stops this year.

There’s also no word if the series will have a stronger connection to the rest of the MCU. Many fans want to see the character interact with Jessica Jones and reunite with Matt Murdock. Hopefully, he at least gets to hang out with one member of The Defenders team.
