Potential details have emerged about Jon Favreau’s new live-action Star Wars series for Disney’s streaming service.

Details have been predictably scarce since Favreau’s live-action Star Wars series was announced, but now it seems we finally have something substantial to speculate about. According to a report from Making Star Wars, the series might take place in that mysterious time period between the end of Return of the Jedi and the beginning of The Force Awakens.

The show could also apparently be set on Mandalore, suggesting that the series could have ties to events in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Rumor has it that the action takes place mainly three years after the destruction of the second Death Star as several parties work to restore the fallen Mandalore to its rightful place.

Of course, none of these details are confirmed, but at least there’s something specific on which to focus our speculations. But it would make perfect sense to set a new series during this time period, especially with it being such a hazy area of history regarding Luke Skywalker and the rebellion and the continuing struggle against the Galactic Empire.

The series is also rumored to have an incredibly high production budget, reportedly $100 million for the first 10-episode season. It seems that Disney is going all in on this new live-action show, sparing no expense to tie it seamlessly into the Star Wars universe.

Favreau was brought on both his Star Wars “fluency” and for his writing and producing talent. “I couldn’t be more excited about Jon coming on board to produce and write for the new direct-to-consumer platform,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. Aside from any rumors, we know that Jon Favreau is having a fanboy’s field day being in charge of the series, saying “If you told me at 11 years old that I would be getting to tell stories in the Star Wars universe, I wouldn’t have believed you. I can’t wait to embark upon this exciting adventure.”
