Mr. Robot: Rami Malek alludes to future seasons of series

Star of Mr. Robot, Rami Malek, hints that fourth season of critically-acclaimed series may not be the final — despite Christian Slater’s comments alluding otherwise.
We can all take a sigh of relief (for now) because according to the star of Mr. Robot Rami Malek, there is still a lot of story to tell and there should still be a season or two to look forward to.
Panic spread amongst fans when Christian Slater told Collider in an interview that season 4 would be the last.

According to Slater, the story that creator Sam Esmail wanted to tell was going to wrap up in the upcoming season, and the days of Mr. Robot may soon be coming to an end.
However, when Malek spoke to ScreenCrush recently about his upcoming movie Papillion, he begged to differ (thank goodness!).
"“That’s news to me. Christian, I should text him. It’s his birthday today. I’ll give him a ring and find out what info he’s got. Well, if Sam can do the rest of the story in one season, that’ll be a feat.”"
So, it looks like there is some uncertainty there on whether or not season 4 will indeed be the last, but we are hoping it is not the case because we are so not ready to say goodbye just yet.
If it does end up being the end of the road for Mr. Robot, it wouldn’t come as a complete shocker, especially with Malek’s movie career on the rise including the upcoming Bohemian Rhapsody.
Season 3 was quite the dramatic adventure with White Rose killing an FBI informant and all her devious plans to keep her agenda a secret. However, Elliot now knows White Rose is responsible for his father’s death–so things are surely about to get crazier than ever before.

The series is also getting a comic book series from Black Mask which is written by Esmail and show writer Jeff McKibben. Presumably, the comic will be a prequel to the series exploring Elliot’s life in the earlier days and how he went about creating fSociety.
