The upcoming HBO film, My Dinner With Hervé, will star Peter Dinklage and Jamie Dornan as Hervé Villechaize and Danny Tate.

HBO has officially set a premiere date for new series My Dinner with Hervé with an all-star cast.

What would you say is Peter Dinklage’s most famous line from Game of Thrones?

“That’s what I do, I drink, and I know things.”

It’s printed on t-shirts that hang in every window of every boardwalk shop.

Well now, you’ll get to hear Dinklage utter another famous quote, although you may be too young to know what it’s from: “The plane! The plane!”

More from Game of Thrones

Dinklage will be playing Fantasy Island actor Hervé Villechaize in an upcoming HBO film called My Dinner with Hervé. The film also stars Jamie Dornan of Fifty Shades of Grey fame.

The movie, which will debut on Saturday, October 20, is based on a true story in which struggling journalist Danny Tate (Dornan) strikes up a friendship with Villechaize one night in Los Angeles. Their strange comradery ends up having life-altering effects on the both of them.

Rounding out the cast is Mireille Enos (Big Love), who plays Hervé’s girlfriend, Kathy Self, Harriet Walter (The Crown) as Danny’s editor, Fiona Baskin, Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones) as Danny’s girlfriend, Katie Nielson, and Andy Garcia (Ocean’s Eleven) as Fantasy Island star Ricardo Montalbán. Other cast members include David Strathairn (Billions) and Marty Rothstein.

Sasha Gervasi served as director and writer of the film. In addition to Gervasi, Dinklage, Steven Zaillian, Richard Middleton, Ross Katz, Jessica de Rothschild all served as executive producers.

While this HBO movie isn’t eligible for the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards, it should be eligible for next year’s Golden Globes nominations. I’m interested to see if it gains any buzz once it airs. Judging from HBO’s successful track record, it should.

My Dinner with Hervé debuts Saturday, October 20, on HBO.
