Game of Thrones stars give clues to their endings

Maisie Williams and Peter Dinklage give Game of Thrones fans more to think about during recent interviews.

We are currently in a state of Game of Thrones purgatory.

The hit HBO fantasy series wrapped up filming for its last season back in July. And it won’t be ready to air until April, possibly later. (UGH!)

We no longer have sleuth amateur photographers hiding in bushes to capture a glimpse from set to give fans a clue as to how it will all end. All we have are random interviews with the actors from the series reflecting on their final days of shooting and, hopefully, letting some info slip by mistake.

More from Game of Thrones

Fan favorites Maisie Williams and Peter Dinklage are the latest Game of Thrones actors to give such interviews.

Williams told the Guardian that she ended the series alone.

"“…shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone, and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches.”"

She also indicated that she is satisfied with her character’s ending.

"“I got to the end, and I didn’t want more. I had exhausted every possible piece of Arya. And this season was quite big for me. I had a lot more to do. Mainly because there’s just less characters now, so everyone’s got more to do.”"

That’s so true. So many characters died throughout the seven seasons, and more are sure to kick the bucket in the final season.

Another survivor of the series (so far) is Dinklage. Fresh off his Emmy win in September, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about Tyrion’s fate.

"“It ends beautifully for my character, whether it be tragic or not.”"

Does this mean the world’s most beloved Lannister might not survive? I don’t think I could take it.

Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) recently said that the finale might divide fans. While Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont) indicated that he might be one of the lucky ones that made it through. Of course, he could be talking about making it to the final season.
