Connie Britton is open to returning to American Horror Story and 9-1-1

Say what?! Connie Britton is open to returning to American Horror Story!
Connie Britton returning to American Horror Story would be the best thing ever, right? In the most recent season, Britton made a brief return to reprise her role as Vivien Harmon.
If you recall, she was in the first season of Ryan Murphy’s critically-acclaimed FX series.
Season 8 was the epic crossover season fans were eagerly awaiting, and seeing Britton back in this world was one of the most exciting things ever.

But the question remains, would she ever consider coming back to the series?
In an interview with The Wrap, Connie Britton said she would be open to the idea of coming back (please do!) to American Horror Story as well as Fox’s 9-1-1, another Murphy series she was on. However, there is nothing set in stone for when/if this could happen.
Britton said “it’s always possible” and if it’s a Ryan Murphy series, she’s quick to say yes because of how much she adores him. So it’s something she would consider rather quickly if the opportunity presented itself.
In the most recent season of American Horror Story, Britton returned as Vivien, who ends up giving birth to the Antichrist (Cody Fern’s character). Fern’s character was a big part of season 8’s Apocalypse and Britton came back to tell Madison (Emma Roberts) and Behold Chablis (Billy Porter) that she tried to kill him but failed to do so.
Britton confesses that she hasn’t even seen the episode because she finds the series to be extremely scary. However, since it was Sarah Paulson’s directorial debut, she is certainly going to watch it at some point.

Fans of Connie Britton would most definitely be ecstatic if she came back in any capacity to American Horror Story. Heck, we would love to see her come back on 9-1-1 as Abby! While there is no confirmation about Britton making an official return, we will be keeping an eye out for any news!
