The Good Fight gets a season 3 premiere date and new trailer
By Ariba Bhuvad
The gripping drama series, The Good Fight, will premiere its third season in March–plus that trailer, though.
The Good Fight had its winter TCA panel this week and it brought with it a season 3 premiere date as well as a trailer and key art. The series has done well for itself on CBS All-Access considering it got its start as a spin-off of The Good Wife that starred Julianna Margulies. The story that preceded it is long behind us and now we are all about Diane (Christine Baranski) and her new life.
Some of the cast (Baranski, Audra McDonald, and Michael Sheen) along with the series creators and executive producers (Robert and Michelle King) joined the panel to talk about the upcoming third season. So what will season 3 of The Good Fight have in store for us?
The series is known for its controversial episodes, and it appears that the new season will continue to follow this path, according to Deadline. It will once again focus on the current administration with Diane at the center of trying to make sense of it all. Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo) and Liz Reddick-Lawrence (McDonald) will be dealing with the idea of truth over story, and embracing diversity according to society’s perception of it being a trend.

We can’t forget Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) and her adorable new bundle of joy! But it seems like season 3 will give her a new love interest–but wait, no more Justin Bartha?! No, say it ain’t so! Last but certainly not least, we have Maia Rindell (Leslie Rose) who will have her own obstacles to face with a lawyer named Roland Blum, played by Sheen (who is absolutely amazing in the trailer!).
The fight is on this season, and it promises to be bigger, better, and more epic than we’ve ever seen. We should embrace ourselves for a season full of O-M-G and “Did they really just go there?” moments–it’s going to be great, isn’t it?
Robert and Michelle King will continue to be the showrunners/executive producers on The Good Fight. The Kings were also responsible for creating this show’s predecessor, The Good Wife, and it’s a good thing too because they continue to kill it!
