Netflix series Love Death And Robots has a crazy trailer and a premiere date for March. Will you watch these intense visions?

If you haven’t seen the trailer for the upcoming Love Death And Robots series, know that it’s style has a built-in hype. The rhythm is not only pulsating, but it’s also jack-hammering.

The images flash by frenetically, going by in a hypo-stimulating blur. Also, the big news: It will premiere on March 14, 2019. As the add clear roars at you: Be there or be square.

Thematically it appears there will be some sci-fi, comedy, horror and supernatural elements. Of course, it’s possible that some storylines could threaten to defy genre altogether (some of the best art does that, or at least comes close).

More from Show Snob

So, what is known about the show? It is not yet possible to know everything as a layperson, but one can guess it will have plenty of adult themes and imagery (yes, probably including nudity). It is associated with Tim Miller and David Fincher, but there will be 18 different creative teams making diverse animated shorts.

Deadline reports that the episodes will range in length from 5 to 15 minutes. We also know Jennifer Miller and Josh Donen are executive producers. The trailer indicates you’ll see everything from traditional cartoon animation to modern CGI.

There is sparse information on episode content, titles or who is involved. However, according to IMDb, at least one episode will feature Hayley McLaughlin, Helen Sadler and Stefan Kapicic. Hayley McLaughlin is known for appearing in Deadly Switch and the TNT series The Librarians. Sadler has appeared in the TV series NCIS, Criminal Minds and True Blood.

In addition to playing “Lieutenant Nikolai Zakharov” in an unknown episode of LD&R, Stefan Kapicic has been in Deadpool parts 1 & 2 (as the voice of X-Men’s Colossus), as well as Casper in AMC’s Better Call Saul, among other things.

The project seems to be in competent hands.  David Fincher is known for directing Seven, The Game, Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He’s also been involved in Netflix series House of Cards and Mindhunter.

In fact, he’s also directed music videos for artists as varied as Foreigner, Madonna, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails.
