- Lawmen: Bass Reeves season 1, episode 7 preview: Non-spoiler thoughts for Part VII
- Goosebumps season 1, episode 6 recap: “Night of the Living Dummy”
- Beacon 23 season 1, episode 3 recap: “Why Can’t We Go on as Three?”
- Upload season 3, episode 2 recap: “Strawberry”
Our favorite trio of bumbling side-kicks deserves more than the Ant-Man films can give them. Michael Peña, TI Harris, and David Dastmalchian provide great support to Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, but a show starring these three could be analogous to the X-Files’ The Lone Gunmen. Sometimes, you just need a good laugh and if there’s one thing we know about Luis and team, it’s that they are ready to deliver plenty of guffaws.
Superhero-adjacent media can be extraordinarily fun but never gets as much traction because they are usually unknown properties. That’s a problem Luis et al would never face. Imagine kicking off each episode with a Luis-esque recap which plays over footage of characters doing the most mundane tasks.

3. Nakia, the Spymaster
There are a fair few people who will admit that their favorite character from Black Panther was Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia. In popular media, it is still hard to come across a female character who has much depth beyond being a ‘love interest’, but Nakia broke the mold. She is smart, powerful, and most importantly, kind.
As a spy, Nakia helps save trafficked women and free unwilling soldiers. A show about Nakia’s skills as a spy could be a hard-hitting look at the impact of trafficking and warfare on the average person. Throw in some globe-trotting glitz and glamour, like the casino scene in Seoul, and Disney has a winning formula for this series.
