Why Women Kill is about to be your next favorite show—trust us.

Why Women Kill just dropped its official trailer, and it is awesome. According to Deadline, this CBS All Access new dramedy will star Once Upon A Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin, Charlie’s Angel’s Lucy Liu, and Killing Eve’s Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

I have to say that when I first read the description/synopsis for the series, I wasn’t sure what exactly it would entail.

However, now that I’ve watched the trailer three times over out of excitement, I can happily report that it’s going to be pretty epic.

Basically, the series follows three women in three different decades (the 60s, 80s, and 2018). And while their lives may have nothing in common, there is something that binds them—the house they live in (it’s the same house over the span of almost six decades) and the desire to kill their husbands.

It sounds morbid, but once you see the trailer, you’ll most likely find yourself relating to them in more ways than one. It looks pretty hilarious yet possesses a very dark aura about it given the nature of the premise.

Without giving too much away, I’ll simply suggest you check out the trailer below.

If you’re wondering who is playing who, here is the breakdown for the cast of Why Women Kill:

  • Ginnifer Goodwin: A housewife named Beth Ann in 1963 who is obsessed with her husband until she learns of his affair
  • Lucy Liu: A stylish 80s woman named Simone whose husband is also cheating on her
  • Kirby Howell-Baptiste: A bisexual lawyer named Taylor who is in an open marriage with her husband and has a lover who will be played by Alexandra Daddario
