It’s obvious Will is head-over-heels for Tess. Ever since they’re season 1 hook-up, he’s done a lot for her, including fighting for Howard to hire her after trials. I think if she wasn’t so hung up on Jake, she might even give Will a decent shot.

Will

More from Show Snob

He’s that boy-next-door-scout who typically follows the rules unless you call sleeping with your trainee or performing sexual acts in front of customers breaking them.

He and Tess slept together, and they even start moving towards a relationship, but Tess cuts things off with him. He doesn’t hold that against Tess when it comes to Howard hiring her. He vouches for her and encourages him to bring her on board officially.

Now, he and Tess are friends. He’s sweet to her, offering advice when she needs it and vice versa. He’s the type of guy any girl would want to bring home to meet the parents.

Jake

He’s your typical leather-jacket-wearing, brooding bad boy. Tess dumps Will because her feelings for him are too strong. The only thing is, they haven’t really had much of a connection, besides one kiss in season 1.

Since then, he’s strung her along, doing whatever he wants, even belittling her at times. There’s still something intriguing about him she can’t let go of, yet.

It’s always the case, why go with the safe choice when you can risk it all for the scary choice?
