Fear The Walking Dead season 5, episode 10 recap: 210 Words Per Minute
By Ariba Bhuvad
Morgan and Grace head out in pursuit of someone that calls for help in this week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
Fear The Walking Dead was…interesting this week as Morgan and Grace spend the entirety of it within a mall. Did anyone else catch that they were totally vibing? Can we officially make that a thing now—shipping Grace and Morgan. I’m so here for it.
How exactly do they end up at the mall, you ask? A man named Chuck reaches out for the group’s help so Morgan, Dwight, and Grace head there to help him out. It turns out that Chuck was bitten by a walker and before he turns into one of the undead, he asks if someone can bury him the way he desires (under the stars).
While looking for Chuck at the mall, Grace ends up passing out, most likely due to the radiation poisoning she encountered. Luckily, there happens to be an urgent care center in the mall which means with some electricity, she could use some of the machines to find out what’s going on with her. For some reason, electricity is pretty easy to come by in the apocalypse.

Grace and Morgan maneuver around walkers to get the generator started all so Grace can make sure she is able to get inside the urgent care center. It’s pretty impressive how much they manage to get done with such limited resources on Fear The Walking Dead. And while they’re doing their thing, Dwight heads out to find the rest of the group to bring them back to the mall.
Unfortunately, Dwight runs into one of Logan’s men and is captured. They want to know where the oil fields are but Dwight isn’t about to give up any information. He has a chance to be good, and good he shall be. Sorry, not sorry! When he eventually manages to escape, he lets the guy go, giving him the option to go off and be a better person. If only Negan could see Dwight now.
During their generator shenanigans, Grace and Morgan end up finding Chuck when the security screens turn on. He’s managed to make it onto the rooftop of the mall, which ends up working out considering his final wishes. Grace sets up a makeshift starry sky and Chuck is able to peacefully pass away and then buried just as he wanted.
The whole situation with Chuck makes Grace realize that she wants to make the best of every day. She doesn’t need to know how much time she has left because she wants to live life YOLO style, so she decides against using the machines (all that trouble for nothing!). Instead, she and Morgan get on the carousel and have a cute little pseudo-date that I wish we could have seen more of.
But the moment passes once Dwight shows up with the crew and Morgan reveals that he’s not going with the group. He’s going to go looking for Al instead. Aw man! Come on Morgan, give love a chance! Sigh, we were so close.
Before this Fear The Walking Dead episode comes to a close, Dwight finally gives into Daniel and gets a haircut and shave. Hello, clean-shaven Dwight! At least someone was happy at the end of the episode. ::Cue tears::
