Fear The Walking Dead season 5, episode 14 recap: Today and Tomorrow
By Ariba Bhuvad
Fear The Walking Dead continues to trudge along as a new character joins the group.
Fear The Walking Dead has been a bit slow this season, in my opinion. I’m not quite enjoying it as I have in past seasons, but for the sake of loving this universe, I’ll let it go, for now. The episode begins with Morgan and Al running into a man named Tom. Reluctant to accept their help, he confesses that another group promised to help but didn’t.
During his interview with Al, Tom shared what he did before the apocalypse hit, which led to him explaining how the other group almost killed him. But now he’s worried about something more than just himself. His sister was left behind and he’s concerned for his safety.
This sparked Al’s interest, but not to save Tom’s sister. Morgan caught onto this but had no idea Al was in pursuit of the girl who won her heart. The thing is, neither is willing to open to the other. You would think that at this point in Fear The Walking Dead they’d be comfortable with one another. They do interviews for goodness sakes!

Morgan and Al head to the condo complex where they believe Tom’s sister is but instead they ran into a walker that nearly drowned them. And what a gnarly walker that was!
While being drowned by the walker, Ginny (remember the woman from the other group?) showed up and enlightened them with her mission, which she claims is similar to theirs. I don’t think I believe her though.
For The Walking Dead fans out there, we learned in this episode of Fear The Walking Dead that the helicopter people that took away Rick Grimes is not Ginny’s group.
I know, I was just as frustrated. The rest of the episode dragged on and ended on an interesting note.
After opening up with Al, Morgan had an epiphany and decided to reach out to Grace. But it might be too little, too late. Because the radioactive poisoning is finally starting to affect Grace, and she may not have much time left before the end of her days.
Fear The Walking Dead airs every Sunday on AMC at 9 PM EST!
