The group struggles to find a place to call home in this week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead.

Fear The Walking Dead is heading into its season 5 finale this Sunday, and I have to say, I’m fairly underwhelmed with this season. I don’t feel like much has happened besides the filming of the documentary, and a series of things that don’t make any sense. But alas, here we are, and we must trek forward to one final episode of the season.

The episode kicks off with yet another video, but this time around, it’s one with Ginny and her minions. Copycat video?! Where are all these cameras coming from? And TVs? And electricity? Can someone answer these questions, because that would be lovely.

Al is absolutely livid with the video and decides to make another video to show raw footage of everything the group was doing. And thus begins the episode where she works on that, Charlie learns to play the guitar, Alicia tries to figure out life as a painter, and Grace continues to struggle with her health.

Things took a slightly positive turn when the group finds a walker wearing a sheriff’s badge, specifically one from Humbug’s Gulch. John realizes this might be where the group can make a new home, and so Fear The Walking Dead takes the group to a new destination.

Unfortunately, before the journey even began, Grace started feeling sicker so there was a slight detour to go hunting for IV bags. Not sure how they’d be safe to use, but let’s just go with it.

This break in travel gave Morgan the chance to convey his feelings to Grace, while John decided it’s time he and June get married. Love is in the Fear The Walking Dead air, folks.

As Grace improved, the group set out once again only to face two more issues before facing the final one. They couldn’t make it across a bridge that wasn’t going to hold their tanker, and the other was when Ginny and her men decided to make everyone’s lives more difficult by attracting walkers.

Eventually, the group did arrive at Humbug’s Gulch but it wasn’t exactly what they expected. The entire complex was filled with walkers, and exactly the type of place they couldn’t live in. But, wait, it gets worse. They have no food, water, shelter, and have only one option–to call Ginny for help. And as much as it hurt the group to suck it up, it was the right move.

Is it bad that I felt worse when Morgan tried to tell Grace his feelings and she stopped him? I know, I’m a horrible person.

The Fear The Walking Dead season finale airs this Sunday on AMC at 9 PM EST!
