A Million Little Things season 2, episode 6 recap: Unleashed
By Ariba Bhuvad
Gary and Maggie’s relationship hits a roadblock in this week’s episode of A Million Little Things.
A Million Little Things is constantly putting someone’s relationship to the test, and this week, it’s Gary and Maggie. The two have been having issues ever since Maggie’s mom came into town and revealed that someone took Chad’s heart after he died. And that man, Eric, has become more or less a part of Maggie’s life now, which isn’t doing wonders for her relationship with Gary.
Which is why when she gets distracted by a phone call from Eric and loses Gary’s dog, Colin, things get very, very awkward. Clearly, Colin means a lot to Gary, so much so that all of his friends show up to help find him. I think we all aspire to have a group of friends like that!
Unfortunately, when Gary calls Eddie to come help, he says he isn’t able to since he is babysitting Charlie. Just so he can go out and help find Colin, Katherine shows up to babysit Charlie. I have to say that A Million Little Things is tackling their storyline very well. I agree it is a bit unrealistic, and in real life, things aren’t always that simple or easy. But for the sake of the series, I’m glad they’re not spending too much time on everyone being angry at each other.

While babysitting Charlie, Katherine has an epiphany when asked if Charlie is her baby. She doesn’t want to hide their secret anymore and wants to be free and honest with all. When she presents this idea to Delilah later in the episode, you can only imagine that she didn’t get the response she wanted.
D isn’t ready to tell the kids who Charlie really is because it means coming clean about her and Eddie’s affair. Goodness, this friend group sure is complicated.
Speaking of complicated, Delilah learns a little more about Andrew after he takes her to record a podcast about losing Jon and dealing with his death. Do you really how Andrew said that he lost his wife? Well, that’s not entirely true.
She still alive but has been in a coma and is unlikely to wake up. Luckily for Andrew, Delilah can understand why he needed to keep it a secret.

The way their relationship is progressing is another great part of A Million Little Things this season. I’m glad we’ve stepped away from her and Eddie’s story and shifted into other possibilities. It could have gotten really old really fast so thank goodness for Delilah and Andrew!
By the end of the episode, Gary ends up being reunited with Colin, who was just stuck in the basement of his building. And while he and Maggie work out their issues finally, she has some very, very sad news. Eddie found a flier for a missing dog while they were out looking for Colin and happened to spot one from Colin’s original owners. They’ve been looking for him for over a year!
Ugh, that’s too heartbreaking.
Will Gary give up Colin? Will Katherine, Delilah, and Eddie tell the children the truth? And are Maggie and Gary actually going to make it? So many questions, too little answers.
