The rest of the MODOK family has officially been cast!

While Marvel TV may be coming to a close, Hulu’s upcoming MODOK series is moving along well. Deadline reports the animated show has set its voice ensemble alongside the already cast Patton Oswalt.

First up is Aimee Garcia (Lucifer) who plays the MODOK family matriarch. Her character, Jodie, is tired of being “tied down” by her husband and his negativity. Instead, she wants to expand her “lifestyle brand” even further after it evolved from a popular mommy blog.

Ben Schwartz (Sonic the Hedgehog and House of Lies) is set to voice Lou, MODOK’s twelve-year-old son. Compared to the rest of the family, it sounds like Lou is just going to be an average kid. He doesn’t have any talents, with his character description pointing out he’s not very athletic or smart. MODOK worries about his “lack of friends, ambition, and hygiene”, Lou is very comfortable in his own skin.

Rounding out the MODOK family is Melissa Fumero’s (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) character, who is also named Melissa. Apparently she looks like her father, with her description claiming she “inherited his features”. However, this hasn’t weighed her down and Melissa is one of the most popular girls in school and an accomplished figure skater. Despite her accomplishments, she just wants her father’s approval which might be hard to come by.

The other cast members include: Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), Sam Richardson (Veep), Beck Bennet (Saturday Night Live), and Jon Daly (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

McLendon-Covey voices Monica Rappaccini, MODOK’s rival at work. The two are constantly betraying each other and Rappaccini loves when AIM is eventually sold much to MODOK’s displeasure. However, the two both hate GRUMBL, the tech giant that bought the company, and attempt to work together.

Bennet will be playing Austin Van Der Sleet, a “slick twenty-something” guy who becomes the new manager of AIM. He represents GRUMBL, and puts an end to Rappaccini’s abhorrent experiments and forces the employees into many HR meetings. Ultimately, he doesn’t sound like the best person to run an evil corporation, and MODOK plans to steal his company back.

Finally, Richardson and Daly will be playing MODOK’s “friends”. Daly voices Super Adaptoid, an android who serves MODOK, has somewhat of a friendship with him, but also wishes to be free. Meanwhile, Richardson plays Gary, a devoutly loyal AIM operative and an incredibly optimistic friend to MODOK.
