4. It’s like watching television and playing a game at the same time.

One of the best parts of watching BoJack Horseman is pausing it so you can catch all the goodies stuffed into each and every episode.

Pause the screen whenever you see anything written down, from books to brand names, there is probably at least one pun guaranteed and sometimes hilarious callbacks to other episodes, references to other pieces of pop culture, and countless other fun easter eggs.

At one point in the show, the writers even hilariously put a joke in the background that showed a t-shirt saying, “stop pausing and just watch the show.” But if they wanted that to happen, they shouldn’t have stuffed it with so many fun in-jokes and gags!

3. It’s a completed series, and it won’t take you long to watch.

When considering whether or not to embark on a new binge watch, many people have to decide if it will be worst the long-term time investment. Watching a complete show from start to finish takes time, after all.

While we might be living in a strange time right now — what with the global pandemic and enforced quarantine — it’s always good to know how much of a time sink a new project will be. BoJack Horseman is a complete series that comes in at six seasons.

Each season is comprised of 12-16 episodes, and each episode is about 20-30 minutes long. It won’t take you very long to finish. Since it’s over, you won’t have to worry about waiting between seasons either.

On the downside, by the time you’re done, you’ll wish you had more seasons to look forward to. On the upside — it’s short, so maybe you can just rewatch it again?
