Shudder is celebrating Halfway to Halloween Month this April. Two series will be arriving on the streaming platform that you won’t want to miss!

For horror fans and Halloween enthusiasts, Halfway to Halloween Month might not be a new concept, but Shudder is making it official on their streaming platform. For the month of April, subscribers will be treated to the biggest month of non-October programming ever. Perfect for those nights of social distancing and self-quarantining.

For non-members of the horror streaming service, make sure to use the promo code SHUTIN to redeem a free 30-day Trial. That way you won’t miss out on April’s new original series, the return of the Ghoul Log, recommendations from Shudder’s head curator, Samuel Zimmerman, and much more! It’s sure to be a ghastly time!

Of course, there will be amazing movies arriving on Shudder in April, such as Tales of Halloween and my personal favorite, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl will also be returning for the second season of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. But for you television lovers and docu-series fans, Shudder has some treats for you!

Cursed Films: Premiering April 2

Cursed Films is a Shudder Original docu-series that provides us with some insight into the myths and legends of our favorite horror films. Fans of The Exorcist and Poltergeist may have heard of the on-set cursed rumors, but now it’s finally time to learn if what we’ve heard is fact or fiction.

Shows included in the five-part series are The Exorcist, The Omen, Poltergeist, The Crow, and Twilight Zone: The Movie. I am a huge fan of documentaries that explore the horror genre and loved Shudder’s 2019 release of Horror Noire. So, here’s to crossing my fingers that Cursed Films will also be a hit.
