Harley Quinn is still on her mission of taking down the Injustice League and this time she’s targeting Mr. Freeze. Here’s what happened in “Trapped.”

Harley Quinn has a bone to (ice?) pick with the man who froze her living body, but alas, Mr. Freeze’s ice domain refuses to go down easy. Fortunately, the villains’ goons let slip-up the only thing that can melt the ice is Firefly’s flamethrower. Things can’t be that easy for Harley Quinn though, as the weapon is stored inside Mr. Trap’s museum.

Poison Ivy is facing her own set of problems in this episode, such as being distracted and missing toxic waste being dumped into the harbor. She’s also being hounded by Harley Quinn that she’s too good for Kite Man, which Poison Ivy points out shouldn’t be coming from the woman who’s ex attempted to kill her multiple times. And, then, there’s this awkward reunion between her and old pal, Catwoman.

Harley Quinn thinks that it’s a fantastic idea to invite Catwoman on the heist mission, as Ivy and Catwoman were previously heist-partners. and besides, who’d be better than Catwoman at gracefully passing traps set up by Mr. Trap? Poison Ivy appears to be very uncomfortable by being in the cat burglar’s presence.

There’s so much to unpack in this episode because while the girls are on their flamethrower mission, Dr. Psycho is back on base babysitting a kidnapped Riddler. Sadly, Dr. Psycho finds himself being ridiculed by the captured villain for failing at brain-control.

Back at the museum, Kite Man comes up with multiple excuses as to why he won’t be joining the girl-team inside. However, as soon as they make to go, he calls Harley back and tells her that he plans on going in to grab a leaf-shaped engagement ring for Ivy. Our favorite clown seems hesitant about helping, but after hearing about his love for her best friend, she decides to join.

After a while, Harley and Kite Man finally catch up to Poison Ivy and Catwoman who have already reached the flamethrower. For Kite Man, he doesn’t arrive unscathed as he suffered through the many traps; leaving Harley Quinn untouched.

He takes his and Poison Ivy’s reunion as a time to propose, however in the middle of popping the question, he discovers that Catwoman has taken off with the ring. It doesn’t matter though, because Poison Ivy finally breaks the news — she doesn’t know if she’ll ever be ready for him to propose.

Back at home, Riddler has escaped his hamster-running wheel and left behind a note. Knowing that Harley Quinn will kill him if Riddler isn’t found, he sends everyone off on a search.

No one returns with any idea of his location, but Riddler decides to return because it’s free entertainment and fitness.

After spending time with Catwoman, Poison Ivy realizes that she hasn’t been focusing on her goals and that maybe she should return to her previous self; a person who only cares about themselves.

But after a heartfelt conversation with Harley, she notices that she’s happy with where she’s at now. This leads her to a drunk Kite Man’s house where she finally accepts his proposal.
