8. The Eddy (Limited Series) –  May 8

The Eddy is a new show from La La Land creator Damien Chazelle. André Holland of Moonlight fame plays a formerly renowned jazz pianist named Elliott Udo who migrates from New York to modern-day Paris to work at club known as The Eddy.

Unfortunately, Elliott discovers that keeping his club afloat isn’t going to be an easy task. He gets involved with some unsavory loan sharks who will do whatever they need to for their money, even if that means harming Elliott or those he cares about most.

The show cast real Parisian musicians to play The Eddy’s house band and hired Grammy Award-winning composer Glen Ballard to create some of the series’ musical scores.

The global release date for this hit series from Finland is May 11. Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the third season won’t have to wait much longer to binge, according to What’s On Netflix!

6. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy Vs. the Reverend (2020) – May 12

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fans have been eagerly anticipating this interactive special since it was first announced. Since the series has ended, this new hour-long special will be a great way for fans to revisit their favorite characters. The special will also include an appearance by Daniel Radcliffe!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series.”
