How to Get Away with Murder Season 6, Episode 14 recap: Annalise Keating is Dead
By Monita Mohan
Time to Testify
Michaela Pratt and Connor Walsh have similar conversations about their outfits before the trial, and they’re even more anxious since they’re both about to perjure themselves. On the way to the courtroom, they, along with Oliver Hampton, spot Laurel and immediately interrogate her about her deal.
Laurel’s been asked to say the same lies about Annalise, though her deal gives her probation so that she can keep her son, Christopher. Connor is gutted since his deal gives Oliver immunity but sends him to jail for five years.

And that’s not the worst of it. Frank discovers that Michaela bargained for a better deal and won’t see jail time. When that comes out, Connor is livid.
Michaela takes the stand first and pins everything on Wes Gibbins, saying he killed Sam at Annalise’s behest. Michaela accuses Annalise of having an affair with Wes, which led him to do her bidding. Now, Annalise and Michaela have always been at loggerheads.
Michaela has never been one to shy away from telling Annalise exactly what she thought of her; though I’ll be honest, most of her attacks have been uncalled for. Annalise has protected these idiot kids with her life, and her life has been hell because of it.
Michaela and Annalise squabbling in the courtroom is, therefore, a familiar scene for How to Get Away with Murder viewers, though the jurors look a bit phased by the scene. Can’t blame them. Just when it looks like Annalise may be drowning, she pulls out the Simon Drake card.
Michaela had Simon deported back to Pakistan to protect Oliver from an accidental shooting at C&G. Simon was innocent, but Michaela made a false report to ICE, and he was taken away. Annalise plays the recording of Michaela reporting Simon in the courtroom, and it looks like Michaela’s image may be blemished.
When Connor takes the stand, he repeats the same lies before Annalise outs him as a liar – he faked his application to law school by pretending to shut down a gay conversion therapy center that never existed. Annalise also calls Connor out for using Oliver and not actually loving him.
Despite being on top of her game, Annalise is convinced that she is doomed.
