13 Reasons Why Season 4: When will the final season premiere?

Netflix has released a touching behind-the-scenes video ahead of the final season of teen drama 13 Reasons Why. Find out when it will officially premiere.

The end is nigh for Netflix’s controversial teen drama 13 Reasons Why. The show initially began as Hannah Baker’s story, following along the narrative set out by the book it was based on written by Jay Asher. Since then, it has focused on many different teens across the series since show star Katherine Langford exited.

Today, Netflix released an emotional good-bye video to show the cast wrapping their final table read and a tearful Alisha Boe saying she will never forget the experience as several of the actors hug. It’s a sweet and short clip, although it does not reveal much about the upcoming fourth and final season.

Shared by Entertainment Weekly, the official logline for season four reads: “In the series’ final season, Liberty High School’s Senior Class prepares for graduation. But before they say goodbye, they’ll have to keep a dangerous secret buried and face heartbreaking choices that could impact their futures forever.”

When season three ended, Bryce was dead and we learned he was killed by Alex, but everyone conspired to frame Monty for his death.

Shortly after, Monty died. It’ll be interesting to see where things go from here and whether or not some familiar faces may reappear in the final season.

While we have a release date and a brief overview of the plot, which will focus on the aftermath of covering up Alex’s part in Bryce’s death, we don’t yet have a trailer available for the final batch of episodes. It sounds like they will struggle to keep the truth of Alex’s involvement hidden.

Instead of the usual 13 episodes, season four will only be ten episodes long. It will officially premiere on Netflix on June 5. So if you’re planning to rewatch the first three seasons, you might want to get started soon because June will be here before you know it.
