The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for Season 2

For fans waiting to get their fill on the heroic archer, you are in luck! The journey will not be stopping at season 1 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

The first season is set to air in September, but rest assured, much more is coming. The first round for Daryl Dixon has not even aired yet and many of us have already known filming for season 2 has been in the works for a while now.

Now it is official! AMC finally revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con fan event that Norman Reedus and company will be back to set sail for another round in France. Not only will we once again be seeing Daryl Dixon in season 2 but we will be getting another blast from the past; the Queen of the universe, Carol Peletier.

Melissa McBride has been spotted with Reedus on the set in France (though no official word has been mentioned of her return).

What will Daryl Dixon be doing in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1?

In the first season Daryl washes up on the shores of France exhausted, weak, and extremely dehydrated. He steps into the ruins of Paris and must adjust to his surroundings rather quickly.

He eventually finds himself meeting a company of nuns after getting himself in some trouble in the streets of Paris. After a period of healing, Dixon will become a messenger for his new allies and deliver Laurent, “the revival of humanity” to a destination.

Why is this child so important to humanity? Time will tell, but in the meantime we can all enjoy the fabulous architecture of France, even in the decimated city of love.

How will Carol fit into this all-new world? That has yet to be determined.

But one thing is for certain, it’s going to be epic, and it wouldn’t be Carol without flammable things involved! Will Daryl Dixon find himself in way over his head in this new land?

It would be right down Carol’s alley to save her pookie once again. As these two soulmates are widely known to not do well without each other, they are also two who end up saving each other time and time again.

Season 1 of TWD: Daryl Dixon will be released on September 10. For AMC+ subscribers, you will have the opportunity to see the premiere on September 7!
