Set in the 70s, Daisy Jones and The Six follows a band trying to make it big in L.A. and how spectacularly they're able to fall apart. Riley Keough and Sam Claflin star as Daisy and Billy, the leads of the band with intense chemistry but countering views. While Billy struggles with addiction and his conflicting feelings towards Daisy and his wife Camilla, Daisy wants to make a name for herself and take the band further than ever before.
The show instantly draws viewers in with the vintage aesthetic and original music. The band itself is comprised of entertaining and vibrant characters that easily earn your affection from the first episode. Just not in the ways we would think. Some people lived underground in 1950s-inspired Vaults, others survived in the barren wastelands. As Lucy ventures out of her Vault to find her kidnapped father, she uncovers the truth about the world above and how it came to be destroyed all those years ago.
This show is such a fun experience. Based on the series of video games, the show is an homage to the source material while still allowing new viewers to appreciate the story. The wasteland is fascinating and provides so many threats for Lucy and the other characters to encounter. The show masterfully combines the aesthetics of the past with the horrors of the barren future. The music, popular lingo, and fashion of the 1950s feel out of place in the apocalytic landscape, but it works so well. It's a great watch for anyone wanting an action-packed blast.

The White Lotus
The White Lotus is one of those shows that you won't be able to stop watching, no matter how much you might want to. It's an addicting anthology series that takes place in a new vacation spot each season. The first takes place in Hawaii, while the second season and third season are set in Italy and Thailand, respectively. What connects each season is the dark subplots and the inevitable death of one (or more) of the characters.
Set around a chain of luxury resorts, the show features a variety of characters from all walks of life. In small ways, the characters are all connected, building tension to the eventual murder or disaster set to take place. John B's friends are chaotic but good-natured, and audiences will find themselves caring about the Pogues from the first episode. The Artful Dodger

Set in the 1850s in Australia, Jack Dawkins scrapes by as an underpaid but wildly talented surgeon. When an unwelcomed person from his past returns in his life, Jack has to hide his criminal history as The Artful Dodger (Yes, from Oliver Twist). Lady Belle may be the governor's daughter, but all she wishes to do is become the first female surgeon in the colony. Together, Jack and Belle deal with the various medical emergencies in the small town while growing closer in their feelings for each other.
This show is an absolute must-watch. Fast-paced and quick-witted, the show serves as a period piece, medical drama, and romance all in one. Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Maia Mitchell shine as Jack and Belle, and the supporting cast is equally as entertaining. The show has been renewed for a third season, so there's no better time to start watching than right now.
