If you’ve been counting down the days until The White Lotus returns to our TV screens, I hope you’re ready for a fun update.
Deadline reports that filming for season 4 of the HBO hit is entering its final stretch. It’s been an impressive six months of shooting in France, where two hotels were featured: Airelles Chateau du Messardiere in Saint-Tropez and Hotel Martinez, both of which will be featured as separate White Lotus hotels. The Saint-Tropez hotel will be the White Lotus du Cap, and the other will be White Lotus Cannes.
With filming in its final stretch, a photo was posted alongside the Deadline article showing the Martinez hotel's transformation, complete with the signature White Lotus name. Still, it’s missing one thing—the signature ornate lotus flowers that we’ve seen at every location. Instead, the logo matches the original building's Art Deco style, featuring a lotus flower that feels much more era-appropriate. Here is the featured image below:
That post also features several sneak peeks of the logo on merchandise, furniture, and more. So this version of the hotel seems like it will have a major impact on the series. I mean, there are even White Lotus-branded electric scooters. Talk about attention to detail.
While this isn’t the first time a major luxury hotel has been transformed into a White Lotus resort — as that has happened at every hotel thus far in the show — it is the first time that a season has decided to focus on two different White Lotus resorts, which explains why filming has taken so long.
Even so, this looks like the biggest season yet, especially from the few sneak peeks we’ve seen.

Who will be in The White Lotus season 4?
We're excited to see so many cast members in this upcoming season. The main cast includes the following:
- Laura Dern
- Steve Coogan
- Vincent Cassel
- Caleb Jonte Edwards
- Ben Kingsley
- Dylan Ennis
- Corentin Fila
- Ari Graynor
- Marissa Long
- Alexander Ludwig
- Chris Messina
- AJ Michalka
- Kumail Nanjiani
- Nadia Tereszkiewicz
- Max Greenfield
Some characters from previous seasons might also appear in season 4, but there have been changes to who appears. Jennifer Coolidge’s character sadly died in season 2, and Natasha Rothwell’s character, Belinda, is thankfully somewhere else in the world with her son after she got hush money from Greg (Jon Gries) after she connected the dots on Tanya’s (Coolidge) death.
But who really knows? With two hotels featured, that means we're twice as likely to run into a former character. I’m not sure whether it’ll be someone from last season—as Aimee Lou Wood has said before—or someone from all the way back in season 1. Plenty of people would have the money to come to another White Lotus location.
Other than that, however, we don’t know much else about what will happen. We know The White Lotus season 4 will come out sometime in the first half of 2027. The show will have some Cannes Film Festival tie-ins (because of the use of The White Lotus Cannes in this), and it will focus on the French Riviera (talk about romance).
Until we have a set premiere date, we can only theorize. I think Gries will come back as a returning character for another round of annoying fans with his schemes—and maybe this time meet his maker, since he’s the main reason Tanya died (still salty about that). Either way, it’ll be fun.
You can watch the first three seasons of The White Lotus on HBO Max.
