One of the remaining questions that fans have is who will be conducting the soundtrack fro this new season of the show? T Bone Burnett seems to be out as composer of the second season which means that we are likely to see a new face step in and help out.
a name to consider for the new season of the show could be Hans Zimmer, who has always been a hot name in Hollywood and may be a name that many turn to in order to get this second season the right composer. Of course, there are a number of factors that play into Zimmer doing the show, not the least of which is his prior engagements elsewhere in Hollywood.
Zimmer is rumored to be composing Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which could take him away from True Detective. There is also the matter of the tone of the show, as Zimmer’s style seems to fit more epic scales than what True Detective has been rolling with — but after Matthew McConaughey in season one, you never know.
