With the return of LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, the team needed a new intro video to hype up fans before every game. To help give the video a cool look, whoever produced it used some of the True Detective credit graphics and laid it against some of the Cleveland Cavaliers players.
Check out the intro video below:
The whole thing isn’t an exact carbon copy of the True Detective credits, but it doesn’t take a genius to see the parts that were clearly inspired by the show. It’s yet another cool thing that was inspired by True Detective as who would have thought the show would serve as part of the basis for the intro video for a sports team.
Not just any sports team either, the most talked about and hyped up team in all of sports. The return of LeBron James is serious business and teh Cavaliers using True Detective as partial inspiration for their epic intro video is one of the coolest crossovers ever.
