Vice releases True Detective episode segment (Video)

The second season of the hit HBO series True Detective is right around the corner and it appears that we’re going to be getting some excellent context on the series. The new Vice series that will dig into real crime is going to be kicking off its run by focusing on the murders that inspired True Detective.

As a treat before the series premieres, Vice has released the 20-minute documentary that focuses on the real life True Detective case.

Vice has put together a stellar television series on HBO, digging into the issues we need to know about in an engrossing way that helps get the point across without hammering us with an agenda.
That’s what is going to be so great about this new series, as it’s going to be an extra special treat that the first episode focusing on True Detective. Hearing the story being the inspiration of the series will help fans get an even deeper grasp on what the show is all about, as the context of reality put up against the brilliance of the show should only add more depth.
