True Detective Season 2: Could Cast Members Leave?
By Josh Hill
The second season of the hit HBO series True Detective is right around the corner but fans are still wondering just what is up with the production of the show. Cameras were supposed to start rolling in September but here we sit in the middle of October and nothing has been done yet.

Cast members have been found but that only goes so far as we could cast every role with schoolchildren who play out hte series with stick figure puppets, but it would mean nothing until cameras roll. The cast members who have been found are A-list talents but the question of how long they’ll stick around to committing to True Detective has become very relevant.
It’s not like none of the actors cast have nothing else going on in their lives. Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams all have other things going on in their careers and timing may not match up later on down the road whenever True Detective does enter production.
Some fans may be holding out for this as they hate the casting choices made, but the bottom line is that the show has to get it’s production ducks in an order before some of them start flying away.
