True Detective Mashup With Family Circus Is Wickedly Dark (Photo)

Thanks to the show being so massively popular and critics fawning over it’s brilliance, we can fill the void of not having any new episodes with the endless amount of parodies that exist on the internet. As with all popular shows, it’s a rite of passage to be roasted by parodies as people don’t spend time making fun of a show unless it’s well respected — or something moronically easy like Honey Boo Boo.
This is the case with True Detective and we have been gifted with perhaps the most wickedly dark parody of them all. Thanks to some clever brainstorming, we now have an answer to the question of what True Detective would look like mashed up with Family Circus.
You don’t get any more polar opposite than True Detective and Family Circus, yet here they are mashed up brilliantly together.
It’s hard to top Jimmy Kimmel’s spoof with Seth Rogen or the absolutely spot-on Rust impersonation by Ross Marquand, but this is up there with them and the quality of spoofs continues to be on the rise.
