Yelawolf Channels His Inner True Detective for Music Video

The first season of the hit HBO series True Detective has inspired a slew of different spoofs, parodies and tributes. At first, it was parodies of the show such as mash ups with credits of other shows and spoofs like with Jimmy Kimmel and others.

Since then though, the show has inspired more creative showings of affection, as various bands have taken on True Detective in their music videos to try and channel their love of the show. We even saw the Cleveland Cavaliers use True Detective in their new intro video for this season.
The rapper Yelawolf has used True Detective undertones in his video for his single ‘Till It’s Gone’. Not only does this make the song more enjoyable for fans of the show who may not be familiar with the rapper, but it shows off his creative influences as well.

The song was most recently used in the FX series Sons of Anarchy, but this bridge to True Detective is something that fans will appreciate. The rapper may not be what all fans go for, but his love of True Detective is something we can all share in and bond over.
